Kaya Celebrates Fifteen Years

Pittsburgh, PA — Kaya is celebrating their fifteenth anniversary of bringing sunny island cuisine to
Pittsburgh’s Strip District. The restaurant will mark the occasion with KayaFest, the restaurant’s annual
celebration of tropical food, drink and music, on Sunday, May 30.
For the event, Kaya takes over 20th Street from 5pm–11pm for a festive Memorial Day weekend block
party with a pig roast, tropical drink specials, and free live entertainment.
This year’s bands include Brazilian samba funk artists Timbeleza, folk rock performers Nik Westman & the Central Plains, alt country act Small Cities and hip hop troupe Formula412.
